"Clear, firm aroma of ripe black and a little red berries with slightly cedary aromas, Mediterranean herbs, some tobacco, juniper, cherries and a hint of tar. Dense and taut in the mouth, still somewhat closed, yet very juicy, fresh cherry and berry fruit, present, very fine tannin and animating acidity, persistent on the palate, restrained power, Mediterranean herbs on the palate, also salt, hints of pepper, tobacco and nutty hints, good depth, has tension, very good, taut, decidedly juicy finish with a lot of bite and fine spice."
