At Casalibre we’ve been working to show Chile’s most exciting face, moving away from the typical commercial, industrialized and monotonous chilean wine. Currently we work with carefully selected organic growers from 4 appellations and make single vineyard wines to represent the diversity of our country.
We want to show the best of each terroir and maximize its expression through the use of less intervention. The less intervention in the vineyard and cellar, the better, and we also like to try alternative fermentation and aging vessels. During the 2019 harvest we started working with clay Tinajas using zero added sulphur. We prefer authentic wines, with personality, rather than standard products created to satisfy conventions.
