About Domaine Richaud

Rhône, France

Marcel Richaud is the 5th generation at the domain today covering 80 ha. He took over the family domaine in 1974 and was determined to free himself from the cooperative winery and to sell his own bottles. For Marcel, the most important thing is the raw material. He doesn’t fine nor filter and add just a little bit of sulphur to adjust his wines. He gradually handed over the domain to his son and daughter who will have to perpetuate this beautiful work !
