Going back for the future.
Inspired by many Georgian Kvevri-Wine producers who I have met during the 25 years of my own work in Georgia and by Josko Gravner’s meticulously straightforward work, I started to produce my first Natural Wine in 2010 in Güzelyurt, Cappadocia under the name of Gelveri Ltd. Actually we are working with 2 known grapes, the red Kalecik Karasi and the white Keten Gömlek. In addition we get from 5 more unknown grapes each up to 200 btls. per year. We will try to save and use some more Anatolian grapes in the forthcoming years.
