From the Grower
"A real change in attitude here compared to 2020: Camphor right out on the nose with hints of strawberries from the forest. A sweet bouquet that already anticipates substance, not playfulness. The first sip is rusty, flinty, calmly fluid. The salt progressively emerges and brings out new sensations, showing a mosaic at its core composed of white peaches, hibiscus and roses. The finish is deep and grounded, with superior tannins. Not as clean and clear as previously, this years wine has a decadent soul. There is a bourgois element to this Fuoripista, a certainty and material side that has not emerged in the last vintages, without loosing its signature."

Additional Information

Fuoripista is a different kind of wine that takes an alternative route and has a different approach towards nature.

This wine is the result of a collaboration between Foradori and Marco Devigili, biodynamic winemaker from Campo Rotaliano, and aims to express the true essence of this variety, widespread in the Trentino region. The wine spends more than 8 months on the skins inside Tinajas (amphorae) allowing the delicate character of Pinot Grigio to reveal.
something
Our awareness of nature’s rhythms and cycles has been perfected through observation over time: each season opens new horizons, every day we learn and understand a little more. We have learnt to pay attention, to grasp the subtle differences existing in nature and to preserve the true character of the grape in the expression of its land of origin. Our daily farming gestures are elevated to creative impulses: it is our duty and privilege to wake up every morning and to be free to work according to the message that the earth conveys to us in that moment. We work surrounded by mountains, cultivating Teroldego and Pinot Grigio on alluvial soils of the Campo Rotaliano, Nosiola and Manzoni Bianco on the calcareous-clayey hills of Cognola. We are certified by ICEA and Demeter since 2009.
