Fattoria La Maliosa

Antonella Manuli

Grower, Maker

something

We are an organic farm covering 170 hectares in Maremma Tuscany, between Saturnia and Pitigliano, set in wild and unspoiled landscapes. Antonella Manuli founded La Maliosa in 2009 with the mission of preserving the vitality of ecosystems, with the utmost care in integrating new vineyards into the historic agricultural landscape.

The Corino Method, developed within the farm, aims to achieve the highest level of healthiness in production through regenerative closed-cycle techniques. The agricultural project is completed by the recovery of old vineyards, including the "Vigna Madre"  which is 60 years old and listed in the international register of old vineyards, the "Old Vine Registry."

We are pioneers in Maremma for the production of natural wines from historic local varieties: macerated whites (orange wines) made from Procanico and Trebbiano, grown on the volcanic soils of Pitigliano, and reds from Ciliegiolo, Sangiovese and Cannonau gris.
