Tibaani Qvevri, 2016

The company “Tibaani LLC” was established in 2015. It owns private Rkatsiteli sort vineyards in the village of Tibaani of Signagi Region of Georgia. The vineyards are located in a rain-fed zone. The company is a family-type enterprise. Wine production is after old traditional Kakhetian method. The produced wine is of dark amber color and is featured with velvet flavor. The Company’ cellar is located in Tibaani in one of the shareholder’ yard. There are 4 items of 80-year old qvevri (pottery jar) - 2 are of a tone capacity and 2 - ½ tone capacity. “Tibaabi LLC” produces Chacha as well. It is being produced with double steam distillation of grapes. In 2016 the company took participation in the 8th International Wine Award and Rqatsiteli 2015 Qvevri Amber Wine was awarded the Bronze Medal.
