The history of my vineyard is very recent. I arrived in the Chinon appellation, in Cravant les Coteaux, in April 2021, when I bought 5 hectares of old vines, which I'd been growing organically for some thirty years.
Before that, I was an SNCF train driver in Paris Austerlitz, but I'm not a Parisian. I wanted to get back to the land and produce something good and full of values - WINE!
After a quick training course at the Bouche du Roi estate in the Yvelines, I jumped at the chance to set up shop, took my wife and child (who was 1 month old at the time) and set off in the direction of our new life.

The only criterion I had for setting up was to take over vines that were already certified organic, to be sure of making a clean wine straight away, and to work in environmentally-friendly conditions.
From the outset, the idea was to produce an organic wine, but also a natural one, with no added products during vinification.

I work alone, so I do everything myself, from vineyard work to vinification, including packaging, order preparation, administration and marketing... It's a small, very traditional vineyard!
