Tenuta Vincenzo Nardone is a fourth-generation family estate based in Venticano, in the historic Taurasi DOCG area of Irpinia. The Nardone family has been farming vineyards and making wine since 1908, with a deep connection to the land and its traditions.
Today, the estate operates across some of Irpinia’s most renowned villages, within the most prestigious appellations of southern Italy: Venticano (Taurasi DOCG), Santa Paolina and Montefusco (Greco di Tufo DOCG), Lapio and Pratola Serra (Fiano di Avellino DOCG), focusing on Aglianico, Coda di Volpe, Greco, and Fiano. Many of the vineyards are old, some over a hundred years in age, and are farmed using biodynamic practices and organic certified.
Winemaking follows a minimal-intervention philosophy. Fermentations are spontaneous, and the wines age for long periods in a range of vessels, including concrete and wood; after bottling, further aging takes place in an underground cellar, and the wines are released only after extended maturation. The aim is not early appeal, but depth, balance, and a clear expression of origin.
Today, Tenuta Vincenzo Nardone is led by Nicola Nardone, who continues the family’s work with a rigorous focus on place, time, and authenticity. Wines shaped by their vineyards, not by trends.
