Stefan Buchmayer

Stefan Buchmayer is a young winemaker from the Weiviertel region of Austria. By renting organic vineyards from his family´s winery he launched his own project together with his sister in 2023. 

From the very beginning, he has worked strictly biodynamically, with a strong focus on producing wines that express a true sense of place. He is comitted to to fostering soil health and continously seekt the best ways to reflect the character of his vineyards, while demonstrating the remarkable quality his region can achieve when treated with care.

His key varieties are Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Pinot Noir, with this varieties he stands for a modern approach to natural wine – connected to nature, precise, and shaped by a clear stylistic signature.
