Sextant

Sextant was founded in 2007 while we were working at the Catherine and Dominique Derain estate in Saint-Aubin. Purchasing grapes from Sextant allowed Julien to make his first wines. The idea was to maintain the same winemaking principles as those taught by Dominique Derain. Vinification is done without additives; only a small amount of sulfite may be added before bottling. Today, we purchase approximately 10 hectares of grapes, mainly from the Côte Chalonnaise and Beaujolais regions. All the grapes are organic, and we have been certified since 2018.
