PRELVM

Prelvm is a personal project of Juan Leandro Romero that begins in 2018.

We are in El Raposo, a district of Badajoz in the south of Extremadura.

We currently work on 13 hectares owned by different varieties certified in organic farming in which viticulture with minimal intervention is carried out. We work with plant covers, hedges and bird nests to promote the biodiversity of our plots.

We carry out manual harvests at nigth with boxes, selection of bunches at the table and spontaneous fermentations. Wines that are not clarified, stabilized, or filtered. Wines that clarify on their own while they are aged in clay, cement and oak vessels.

In 2020 we began the recovery of a minority variety of which only the strains that we currently have remain. An exciting project.

And in this 2023 we become part of the Seobirdlife project “dry lands”, another project that we are passionate about in order to provide our vineyards with the necessary tools to achieve the greatest possible diversity in them.
