Podere Veneri Vecchio

Podere Veneri Vecchio is a small wine farm located in Castelvenere in southern Italy within an area devoted to wine production, “Sannio”. The wines come exclusively from vineyards in Catelvenere, grown in deep respect for the land, plants and humans. I try to recover the ancient native grapes, which represent the memory of our rural lands. The cultivation of the vineyards takes place without the use of chemical fertilizers (organic vineyards); if needed, the technique of the “green manure” is applied. The defense from the pathoghenics vegetals is obtained utilizing macerated herbs processed by us ( Equisetum, Urtica, Allium sativum, Rosmarinus ecc.) and raw Propolis . The processing of the grapes, the must and subsequently of the wines, take place in full respect of the naturalness and integrity of the product. Are not made fisical treatments that impoverish wine and causes the loss of that strong typicity. Thanks to the strong naturalistic approach, our wines produced have a strong sensorial peculiarity and territorial.
