Podere della Bruciata produces only natural wine. We gather the grapes by hand, when they are at full phenolic ripeness, placing them in boxes bringing them intact to wine cellar. The fermentation takes place naturally, with native yeasts in cement vats without temperature control. The maceration is followed scrupulously, with refresher on the skins performed several times a day, so that it leaves throughout all its substance. We still use the old cement casks which give the wine a unique balance and get older in big wooden barrels for 20 Qt, as ancient tuscan tradition. Most of our selection of wines come from the vineyard situate in Montepulciano, which is a unique area for its position and the wood near by. we produce Chianti, we from our vineyard in Chiusi. • Tizzo - RossoToscano • Barcaiolo - Chianti ColliSenesi • Ermete - Rosso di Montepulciano • Cesiro - Nobile Grappa from a selection of our marcs • BIO Grappa Mitilene The turn of season, which differs each year, allows us to be able to give our products the typical and remarkable taste that distinguishes them. Our skills are a vital part in the production, in order to emphasize the inner characteristics of the ingredients and to suggest emotion when testing them. We are the first consumers of the wine of Della Bruciata and we always like to drink well most of all.
