I’m fascinated by fermentation, not because it can be controlled, but because it can’t.
What started with studying wine and sensory science turned into a deeper obsession with wines that tell the truth. Wines that don’t hide behind technology, corrections or recipes. Wines that reflect a place, a season and the condition of the vines — nothing more, nothing less.
NAKKT started with a simple question: if a wine can be repaired, manipulated or corrected at every stage, how much of the vineyard is left in the bottle?
Our vineyards are farmed organically on sandstone and ancient Myophoria layers, surrounded by forest and shaped by the cooler sites of our family estate. These conditions slow ripening, preserve acidity and allow the wines to develop their own character over time.
In the cellar, the goal is not perfection. The goal is expression. Fermentations happen spontaneously, wines are given time, and intervention is kept to a minimum. Some stay cloudy, some remain rough around the edges, all of them stay alive.
NAKKT is not about making natural wine because it is fashionable. It is about making fundamentally honest wines that remain connected to their origin. Raw, unfiltered and without makeup.
The project is still small, but it grows every year. Just like the questions that started it all.
