Montirius is a Family Estate in the South of Rhône where the 5th and the 6th Generation are taking care together of the family vines planted on the Appellations Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Côtes du Rhône and IGP Vaucluse. Christine & Eric SAUREL, visionaries, converted already in 1996, the entire estate to the principles of Biodynamic culture certified by Biodyvin. They decided to preserve the authenticity of the berries’ taste given by their beautiful Terroirs. This is how in 2001 they decided to vinify and age ALL their black grapes in concrete vats without interior lining. Their Red and White wines are 100% Oak Free. Justine & Manon SAUREL have been part of the adventure for 15 years. They have an unconditional commitment to satisfy themselves only of the best to take good care of the vines, the wines, Mother Earth in order to guide people on a journey through the exploration of sincere and subtle tastes.
