La Via del Colle

Grower, Maker

something

La Via del Colle owns 34 hectares of land, certified organic and farmed biodynamically, which include vineyards (5 ha), olive groves, forest used for the harvesting of truffles, arable land, orchard and vegetable gardens, and about 300 mostly permanent beehives. The winery produces wine using only the grapes grown in the 5 hectares of company-owned vineyards. The vinification system takes place in an artisanal way through spontaneous fermentation, without temperature conditioning and without the use of yeasts or other activators. No sulphites are added during fermentation or pre-bottling. Our skin contact wines, obtained from Trebbiano, Pagadebit and Albana grapes, mature in terracotta amphorae and jars.
