jeu de raisin was started in the autumn of 2019 to share the kind of wines that we love to drink. Since the beginning, we have chosen to work with artisans who farm without using chemicals in the vineyard, who refuse to manipulate the wines in the cellar. They produce wines that reflect the vineyard's climate, soil and terroir - wines that are a direct expression of grape, place and personality. At first, our focus was the Jura in France. But soon our curiosity and search for good wine led us to work with talented producers from nearby areas of France such as Auvergne and Savoie. The philosophy behind how jeu de raisin is run is quite simple; pure wines from great people whose wines are immediate, energetic and evoke true emotions within us.
