Indicio wines

The aim of Indício is to keep the ancient styles and traditions of the native tablet wines from the Douro Valley. These are wine styles and recipes deeply rooted in the life style , gastronomy and culture of the region, that is being subjected to intense pressures regarding social and cultural sustainability. In Indicio we use ONLY very old vineyards with a fieldblend of dozens of grapes varieties, using the old techniques used to make the wines for home, like foot trading and no electricity. We add only 20 mg of sulfites in the begining of fermentation, just for allowing the 100% wild fermentation to have a slow begining. The result are fresh, complex, with low álcool and with a large ageing potencial.
