A profound and timeless wine, an expression of the grape and its territory, of the soul and character of those who produce it.

Il Maiolo is a certified organic winery for the cultivation of vineyards, since 1996, the first in the province of Piacenza. Located in the northern part of the Emilia Romagna region, in the historic Val Nure.

Our winemaking methods aim, with rigor, to obtain a wine that is able to fully express, not only the potential of the grapes harvested and the production area of ​​Val Nure, but also the sensitivity, character and soul of the producer.

For this reason, the vineyards must produce a maximum of 50 quintals per hectare, in order to obtain healthy grapes with concentrated flavors and structure.
