Fable Farm Fermentory

Situated at 1700 feet atop the Green Mountain foothills of Barnard, Vermont, our farm is a mosaic of fields, forests, and gardens rich with ecological diversity. We produce native-fermented and unfiltered apple, grape and honey wines without the use of sulfites. We also produce aged cider vinegars. We utilize neutral oak barrels, stainless steel, and glass, with an eye and heart open to the future use of clay qvevris. As we await the maturation of our grafted and seedling crop of apple and pear trees, we forage fruit from wild and abandoned ancestor trees found on our farm and environs.
