About
Jura is a small wine area situated Middle East France, one hundred kilometres facing Burgundy, bordering Switzerland.
It regroups 4 differents Appellations d’Origines Contrôlées: Arbois with eight hundred hectares, Côtes du Jura, seven hundred hectares, L’Etoile, seventy hectares and Château-Chalon, forty five hectares.
Domaine Labet is a family business. We grow 13 hectares vine from all the different Jura’s grapes varieties, Chardonnay and Savagnin for white wines, Pinot-noir, Poulsard and Trousseau for red wines.
Jura’s feature is diversity, so we choose to breed this diversity through our different cuvees.
Most of our wines are issues from old vine, up to sixty years old.
We don’t blend wine’s vine together, each of them give a different cuvee.
We try to live our different terroir speak through our wines using the cru method of Burgundy.
