Drinks Farm

Drinks Farm is a negociant project as well as the name of my 8 acre organic farm in Prince Edward County, Ontario. My focus is on hybrid and native grapes to try to explore a more true meaning of what Ontario wine really means. In Ontario, we have many laws and taxes that force winemakers to make wines with only vinifera and in limited styles so I find it extra important in my province to continue making wines with fruit I believe in that has genetics to our area and make great natural wines with them. If the public gets excited about these lesser known and lesser valued varietals it will greatly help our cause to lobby for lower taxes on native and sustainable grapes. I exclusively do native yeast fermentations. My wines are unfiltered, unlined and zero sulphur or any other additions.
