In 1999, for the love of nature, Daniel Boulle, passionate winegrower, and his wife Hélène gave birth to Domaine Les Aphillanthes. The family farm, located in the south of the Rhône Valley in the commune of Travaillan (Plan de Dieu plateau), offers a wide range of authentic wines made up of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Cinsault, Counoise, Viognier, Roussanne and Clairette, on clay-limestone soil. Throughout the year, our daily tasks are carried out according to the seasons, with the moon as a guide. A year of listening and passion in order to harvest grapes of character. Since 2003 The vineyard has been managed entirely in Organic and Biodynamic Agriculture in the desire to develop the domain. Our objective remains above all respect for nature, the soil and the vines to present a wine of terroir, quality and passion. The vines are cultivated traditionally, without weeding, with tillage, disbudding, green harvesting on too productive plots, the treatments and amendments are natural (no insecticide or synthetic fertilizer). A plot selection is made. The grapes are picked by hand and sorted on the plot. As soon as they arrive in the cellar, the grapes pass a new examination on a carpet, before being destemmed and placed in vat.
