Hello, We make natural wine in the Eger wine region, Hunary. In this famous region we are the only natural winemakers unfortunately. We own a rather little vineyard, about 2.5 hectares. We grow our grapes naturally, making fermented teas for spraying, and with the guidiance of the moon calendar, but we are not making preparatums yet, so not fully biodinamically. Our wines are sulphur-free, unfiltered, unfined, handcrafted. In the cellar as well as the vinyard, we decreased the use of machines as much as possible (we handpick, the wines are not pumped to the barrels or tanks, we use little basket-pressers and mix it with whole bunches, foot-pressed bunches, handpicked bunches, etc.). We have a family heritage mixed little yard with a lot of varieties but little amounts of it. This is where our journey begun during our uni-student years. Beside that, we have kekfrankos, blauburger, grüner veltliner on volcanic soil and a zweigelt on a rather sandy soil. We make this together with the help of our little children and parents, siblings. My husband still has a full-time but flexible job beside our winery and my hands are mostly full with our daughters (a 1 month and a 3-year-old). You can find our wines in some restaurants, wine bars and little stores. It's always our goal to grow, study, exchange knowledge, that's the reason we applied to your community.
