For more than 100 years, the family owns and cultivates three hectares of land. Two hectares are vineyards with 40+ yr old vines and the remaining land with olive trees, fruit trees and vegetable garden for the family consumption. Colle Formica produces its wines without use of chemistry both in the vineyard and in the winery. The fermentation is carried out by native yeasts, without temperature control and minimal sulfites. Wine decanting and bottling are done in accordance with the moon.
