Château Del Ranq

Château Del Ranq is located in Claret, on the Pic Saint-Loup. Laure Barthélémy and Sébastien Freychet work their vines according to the principles of Biodynamics. Each plot is unique and has its particularities. Observing and understanding them helps us achieve the objective of their development and guides us in our profession as winegrowers. In 2018, we settled on 3 hectares, to then take over the 10 hectares of the family property in 2020. These vines have been in the family for generations and have always been worked with the greatest respect for the land and the plants. The property is organically farmed since 2009. Our lands are composed of limestone and clay. The vines are surrounded by guarrigue and the outcropping bedrock in places is made up of layers of limestone and marl. Grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with native yeasts. Each parcel is vinified separately. The wine is aged and then bottled at the estate by us. No input into the wines, except a tiny dose of SO2 if needed.
