It all started in 2010 when we threw ourselves into the pool in the midst of a crisis and created Celler 9+ in La Nou de Gaià, in the Tarragona region, with the idea of ​​making different wines from our own vineyards, influenced by the Mediterranean Sea. We decided to work all the farms in organic farming; 35 hectares of which 17are vineyards, 4 olive trees, 5 sown and 9 carob trees. We believe that making organic, sulfite-free wines is, more than a whim or an invention, but a necessity. The pollutants that are present not only in the air we breathe, but in everything we eat, the clothes we wear, the material we use make us sick, weaken us, make us vulnerable. Going back to the origins is part of the process of change: cultivating the land with respect, making wines by listening to them, opening the senses to those around us. We’ve always been committed to leaving preservatives behind, we don’t like antiseptics and that’s why we don’t use sulfur in most of our wines. We work to make conscious wines to be able to enjoy with family, friends or yourself, without fear of the consequences of a poorly made wine.
