Cascina Corte is located in the heart of the Langhe, on the soft hills between Dogliani and Monforte. The beautiful property is immersed in its own vineyards, which surround the historic residence, completely renovated preserving the original 18th century structure and materials. The owners, Sandro and Amalia, cultivate about 8 hectares of vineyards. The Dolcetto plantings are historic, dating back to the first post-war period. The vineyards are grassed over and are worked with great passion, in a totally organic way, without the use of herbicides, chemical fertilisers or other synthetic products. A wide variety of herbs and flowers are sown between the rows to fertilise and enrich the soil, using the green manure technique. Wines are certified organic. The grapes, harvested by hand, are vinified without the use of additives, such as added yeasts or enzymes, and without filtration, in the most natural and respectful way possible, to preserve and enhance the intrinsic qualities of the fruit. We like wines that are fragrant, rich in personality and adherent to the precious terroir that gives them their name. We currently produce, depending on the vintage, between 32000 and 40000 bottles each year.
