The ARMOSA Estate was founded in 2002 by Michele Molgg, with the aim of resuming the cultivation of wine vines in the territory of Scicli strongly suited and with ancient viticultural tradition. The vineyards were planted in two "terroirs": one on Sea side and the other on hill; paying particular attention to the type of land and their exposure to obtain the grapes.excellence The company philosophy aims to favor native vines: “Nero d'Avola”, “Moscato Bianco di Siracusa” and “Moscato Rosa”, to make natural organic wines with personality, aromas and flavors of the territory. Vinification, aging and bottling are performed in the own winery adjacent to the vineyards. In particular, oenological techniques used minimizing the interventions on the wine to preserve its integrity, therefore our wines are natural, unfiltered and low in sulfur dioxide. The company is certified organic, for all its products: Nero d'Avola, white and pink Muscat grapes, “Tonda Iblea” and “Frangivento” variety olives. The wines: three different Nero d'avola in purity: "SICLYS", "CURMA", and "YRMINUM". They differ in the vineyards characteristics , for harvest period and for months of aging in small barrels. All very complex wines with great personality. "SALIPETRJ" dry white muscat obtained by maceration on the skin, represents an original reinterpretation of an aromatic vine as "orange wine" . The first vintate was 2008 Moscato Rosa "Rosa d'ArmosA" dry wine, with floral aromas and notes of ancient rose very peculiar wine
