Agricola Fasolo Paolo - FAEDESFA

Agricola Fasolo Paolo is named after its founder and my grandfather. The company was established in 1972 and is located in Rovolon; it comprises 4.5 hectares of land, 3 of which are vineyards and the remainder is divided into olive groves and woods. The vineyards are mostly located on the northern slope of the Euganean Hills Natural Park at an altitude between 150 and 200 metres above sea level. The soils in this area are characterised by a thin layer of earth (about 40/50 cm) and a substrate composed of marl (white and red) and white marl (the specific name of the stones is Biancone and Scaranto rosso). Most of the vineyards are between 15 and 40 years old: Glera, Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, Corbinello, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. As of 2019, the vineyards are treated naturally with minimal doses of copper and sulphur, maceration and natural fermented compounds; nothing is added or removed from the grape juice, there is no temperature control and no addition of yeasts, sulphites or filtration.
