We welcome for a special night only on Saturday 27th November authors Simon J Woolf & Ryan Opaz to Treat Berlin, to introduce their just published book Foot Trodden – Portugal and the Wines That Time Forgot.
To celebrate the launch of this book, we’ll be opening a huge range of some special portuguese wines by the glass.
You’ll be able to buy the book on the night, and get it signed by both authors. And of course Ryan & Simon will be on hand to chat and answer any questions you might have.

If you always wanted to explore Portuguese wine in more depth, this is the perfect opportunity to get your weekend started.

* Winemaker Eric Texier made the dramatic leap from nuclear engineer to winemaking in the early 1990s. With no family background in wine, through reading, studying, and visiting traditional winemakers and sustainable farms around the world, he developed a passion for wine. Together with his wife Laurence they have created a 12-hectare estate in the almost forgotten vineyard area of Brézème, located in the northern Rhône and in the Ardèche just next door, in the Ouvèze valley. Eric and Laurence are practicing viticulture and enology in a minimalistic way, with particular emphasis on the management of the soil.

Under the umbrella of the RAW Wine fair in Berlin, 3 flamenco stars directly from Jerez de la Frontera (Spain), Beatriz Morales Bailadora, Antonio "Agujetas chico" and Carlos Merino, are coming to Berlin to join the first Flamenco & Natural Wine pairing. Each of the 5 Flamenco styles ("Palo") will be combined with 10 unique Natural wine. The winemakers will be present personally at the show. Nothing like this has ever been presented before in Germany. Probably nowhere else. 2G event.

Manon Renoux of Château Landra and Sébastien Arsac of Domaine Arsac (both also present at RAW WINE Berlin) will present their wines, accompanied by food suggestions that Ulrich Krauss of Zagreus Projekt has created. Special focus will be on the Pet Nat “La Roteuse” of Château Landra and on a new orange wine that Sébastien Arsac will be premiering at this event.
