WeinSchach. That's us - Martina and Andreas Schachenhuber. One could say we are a crazy couple who has set their mind on producing Pet Nat on one level with the most famous sparkling wines. We started WeinSchach in 2019. As complete newcomer. Without a tractor nor a cellar. However, with even more passion and freedom. The freedom to chose the path that feels just right for us. We question almost everything. Break with conventions. And play the game according to our own rules. We are convinced that nature has everything that an extraordinary wine needs. We are here to accompany and support. That's how we can harvest grapes with a maximum in character and finesse. The wine will unfold its full potential and aromas in the bottle. We aim for a Pet Nat that is on the same level as the great sparklings of this world. To reach this goal we experiment. We want to explore our possibilities. Develop. Push the boundaries. Even if that means back to the beginning sometimes. We are convinced that these experiences will help us create great wines. And that we work as close to nature as somehow possibly (we include biodynamic principals in our vineyard work as much as we can), harvest, riddle and disgorge by hand was just logic.
