Halara Rosato, 2019

Alcohol:11.5% Bottle size:75cl Average age of vines: 35 years A blend of Parpato and Catarratto from north facing vineyards planted over calcareous soils. It is a mix of equal parts of whole bunches pressed directly and destemmed grapes macerated for twenty four hours, to lend a little depth, flesh and grip. Bottled young, this is a rosato in the truest sense, with vibrant red fruits and a pleasant bitter, herbaceous note that offers real refreshment. This wine was born from friends who had the opportunity to buy a vineyard together, one that was about to be sold to someone for a new vineyard in northern Italy. It is the result of a collaboration between six winemakers with their own estates to run, spread between Sicily, Pantelleria, Calabria, Tuscany, and Le Marche ! 2019 is their first vintage.
