Additional Information
This trellised and espalier vines were planted in 1948, in the Patagua valley just a few miles away from the town of Santa Cruz. The soils are mostly clay and muddy with controlled drip irrigation and manual pruning.
The vineyard is located at 64 km from the pacific coast and at a height of 174 meters above the sea level. The vines enjoy a mid-warm climate from six to eight months during the year with temperatures variations up to 20 degrees between a minimum and a maximum over a year. During the summer, daily temperatures suffer a variation from 10oC at night and 30oC during daytime.
