Originally the owners of the local Osteria, which had served food to the residents of Bassano for over a century, Mirco decided at the turn of the millennium to focus on a new project. Starting with an idea and a knowledge of the region built over his lifetime living there, he bought a hillside that was but bushland. Here he planted vines with the knowledge that the soil was of exceptional quality for viticulture. 15 years on it seems that he was right. Still experimenting year on year, we have the release of Contra Soarda's no added sulphur range.
