Additional Information
The family enterprise was founded in 2017 by qualified wine-maker. The original wine cellar (Marani) itself was built in 1963 in traditional Kakhetian style, with qvevri wine-making facilities. Recently there was discovered the ancient wine cellar under the existing one. Archaeologists dated it back to 11th century and the slogan of the bottled wine became “1000 year history brought to life”.
Marani owns wine-yards and produces Rkatsiteli and Saperavi grape wines. The assortment was widen last years with rare endemic species: Rkatsiteli Rose, Rkatsiteli Black, Forest Vine, Mtsvane Kakhuri, Kisi, Ghvinis TeTri and Ghrubela. No artificial additives are used in wine-making process during or after fermentation
