Additional Information

This wine is made from every section of the vineyard, represented in proportion to the size of the sections: all of the fruit from the center section of scrappy, old Mission vines; and then roughly half of Grenache from the burly old vines in Pet Cemetery on the periphery of the vineyard, and half of the crazy, unpruned Mission, and Mission crosses, in the Wildlands.
something
We have been making wine in Northern California since 2002, and in Southern California since 2019. Our Southern winemaking is focused on the forgotten old vineyards that surround Los Angeles, mostly in the Cucamonga Valley. Our youngest vineyard in the South was planted in 1918, the oldest in 1896. We make our wine in small warehouse in Los Angeles, in a part of the close to the Los Angeles River that was abundant with vineyards until 1905.
