This wine represents one of our crucial achievements of previous years. 2018 was beautiful and generous vintage. We just got 20 new barrels made from local oak trees, by moravian cooper Mr. Fryzelka. We took this opportunity and elevated the best wines of all our white varieties separately, in both small and big barrels, both old and new for up to 2 years on fine lease. After first racking (each variety separately) we identified 20 different reasonable blending options. After several vigorous blending sessions we agreed that the blend of Riesling, Sauvignon and Traminer - plus-minus the equal part of each is the ideal representation on the 2018 vintage. We followed the same principals and techniques that we are trying to develop with red pARTISAN CRU. To be the flagship of our terroir/ portfolio.
