A Domaine of 9ha farmed bio-dynamically. Musigny, Mazy-Chambertin, Mazoyeres-Chambertin, Corton Charlemagne, 1 Crus: Gevrey Champeaux, Lavaux St Jacques, Volnay Fremiets, Beaune Teurons, Beaune Clos de Roi, Beaune Tuvillains, Savigny Lavieres, Savigny Vergelesses (white), Puligny Montrachet ‘Champs Gains’, Chassange Montrachet ‘Abbaye de Morgeot’, Gevrey Chambertin les Etelois, Gevrey Chambertin and Bourgogne ‘Vigne Blanche’ from a vineyard in Gevrey Chambertin.
Copper and sulphur sprays are either manual or with a small caterpillar tractor to avoid compacting soils and our best vineyards are horse -ploughed.
Grapes are harvested into 13 kg boxes and all fruit is passed over a sorting table before vinification in open top wooden fermentors. Sulphur is kept to a minumum or zero depending on the wine.
The wines are aged in 228 l Burgundy barrels for12-18 months depending on the wine. We bottle all wines at the Domaine.
