something
Sans Wine Co. is a collaboration between husband and wife, Jake Stover and Gina Schober. Their preference for fresh, vibrant and approachable “wines of place” paved the way for what is now Sans Wine Co. The philosophy behind Sans Wine Co. is sourcing and farming premium wine grapes from organically farmed vineyards and environmentally conscience growers in order to craft natural wines, packaged in eco-friendly cans and bottles. They source from vineyards where the vines date back to the 1920s. Their wines are certified vegan and certified organic through USDA & CCOF. Jake Stover has worked for both conventional and organic wine growers over the years, which lead to his focus on “beyond organic” wine growing. He started his own farming company in 2014, Stover Vineyard Management, emphasizing on no pesticide use in the vineyard and dry farming. Gina Schober’s passion for wine began while working in restaurant hospitality, where she worked as a manager, sommelier and wine buyer. She also owns Vinifera Wine Marketing, a California wine brokerage that represents family-owned, terroir driven producers.
