Additional Information

Rapp is a red wine from barbera grapes hand-picked in Gaggero and Vicario vineyards – plantation year between 1970 and 2000 – with 35-50 q. per ha avg yield. It is vinified in stainless steel tanks, with spontaneous fermentation (native yeasts only) and extended (2-6 weeks) maceration. Aging is done for 24 months at least in already used oak casks. In the local dialect of 19th century, Rapp means "bunch of grape".
