Additional Information
Quinta do Olival da Murta has been in the Vivas family for five consecutive generations. We are located in the Lisbon Wine Region, near the Northwest slope of Montejunto mountain, where we got the inspiration for the name of the wines. This mountain is responsible for our microclimate which is well expressed in our wines.
We are about 20 hectares of vineyards, all surrounding the set of farmhouses, our soils are clay-limestone. In total we produce about 30,000 bottles/year. Our viticulture is organic. We see this way of work as the only way to obtain high-quality grapes and in consequence unique wines. The vinification is simple, with indigenous yeasts, taking advantage of what nature brings us each year of vintage.
