Alcohol:13% Bottle size:75cl Average age of vines:30-40 years The wine shows greater fruit weight and structure than the 2018 without losing any finesse. The wine has a well-structured palate of bright cherries, raspberries a helping of spice then throws soft tannin akin to a great Barolo. The Cabernet Franc is fermented using carbonic maceration and the Pinot Gris is fermented on skins in stainless steel for one month. All wines are then transferred to puncheon to settle out and come together.

Born of the many rural regions of Victoria, Patrick had a nomadic childhood. His first vinous whiff probably came whilst climbing the Cambrian hills north of central victoria on a farm his family once owned. All grown up and married to the beautiful Megan, they live and make wine on their own farm in the Strezleki ranges, Gippsland, Australia. The wines are inspired by emotion, a moment in time and a sense of place.
