Additional Information
A blend of Pinot noir (47%), Pinot meunier (30%) and Pinot blanc (23%) from the 2021 and 2022 vintages.
The Pinot noir in 2021 came from our friends at Ham Street Vineyard in Kent (Organic conversion). The fruit was hand destemmed and underwent semi-carbonic maceration for 2 months before being pressed to neutral oak barrels, where it remained for 19 months.
The Pinot meunier and Pinot blanc was grown organically (uncertified) in the Crouch Valley, Essex on blue clay soils. After 2 weeks of semi-carbonic maceration the juice was transferred to neutral oak barrels for an extended period of élevage.
Separate parcels of wine were blended in July 2023 and bottled via gravity with respect to the lunar calendar and with no additions.
