Additional Information

This is the first time our grower has had some CABERNET SAUVIGNON for us, and we were delighted! We hand de-stemmed, stomped and macerated on skins for six weeks before pressing straight to neutral oak barrels, where it remained for one year.

Noita Winery is an urban winery based in Fiskars Village in south-west Finland. We produce stainless steel white wines with zero so2 additions, and skin-contact qvevri + barrel aged red wines with a small amout of so2 before bottling. All our wines are under 30ppm total so2. Unfined, unfiltered, native yeast fermentations.

Since 2018, the majority of our grapes are grown organically by Julius and Daniela Hafner, Mönchoff, Burgenland. I hand pick grapes and fill a cold truck (2c) which takes 2 days to arrive in Finland. All vinification takes place in Fiskars Village. 

In 2022 we made our first wine from Finnish grapes!
