Greco Nero, 2017

We are Domenico & Francesca and Nasciri is our farm. We mainly produce organic olive oil and natural wine in the countryside near a small village in Calabria in the south of Italy, where from the hills where our land is situated we can see the sea and the mountains at the same time. We have a firm belief in the force of nature and the production of wine with organic agricultural methods was for us a spontaneous need as well as being an informed choice that we made. Moreover, we also base our production on various principles of biodynamics and permaculture, which we adapt to our climate conditions and the type of soil and we never miss an opportunity to experiment with new techniques that could improve production or the impact on the environment. All our grape varieties are either typical of the local area or of the south of Italy and, of course, we truly believe that to produce wine is one of the most beautiful jobs in the world!
