Terroir
Valdepila is a small valley that cascades from the highlands down to the Duero river. A thousand years ago it became home to a hermitage because of its peaceful stillness and remote location. Today our vineyards are reclaiming their dominion over the land and extending their reach into the higher elevations. The Valdepila label is a selection of the finest wine grapes from this region. Its slow maceration and ageing in barrels for at least twelve months naturally and powerfully convey the concentrated spirit of its origins.
