• Blend of two hill vineyards (Laderas del Monte, Rodero) at 850 metres • Fermented in stainless steel 3000-litre tank, Total release of 8.000 bottles • Blend of several Tempranillo Tinto Fino clons. • Organically certified vineyard in hills and less than 400 l rainfall per year. • Hand harvested in October 2018, grapes are selected in the winery, cooled and follow a cold maceration for a week. • Fermented with natural yeasts and minimal intervention in the winery. • Aged in 225 l used French oak barrels for at least one year and spent around 2 years in bottle before release (equivalent to what is called Reserva) • Example of ageing a wine without the oak providing too much influence, aiming to keep the fruit. • A combination of craftsmanship (since we do so much by hand) with technologies that fully respect the natural processes, so that the wine will be a reflection of its origin. DOS MUNDOS The Dos Mundos vineyards are located between 800 to 900 meters altitude with soils being a very heterogeneous mixture of the limestone dragged from the moorlands, the typical clay of the valley and the sand from the erosion of the slope. They are poor soils, ideal for the vineyard, which naturally allow for scarce but concentrated productions of expressive and long-lived wines. The wine is a faithful reflection of the land, its altitude and the extreme conditions in which the vineyard develops. The vine developed its roots with no irrigation, forcing them to go deep for humidity.
