Additional Information

Manual harvest in 15 kg openwork boxes. Direct pressing with settling from 24h to 8°C. Alcoholic fermentations are carried out in underground vats, then reared for 8 months without racking. I intervene as little as possible to leave full expression of the grape variety and terroir. The wine is vinified without input and following the lunar calendar. The wine is just extracted before bottling and does not see the sulphur.
something
Les Vins de Lavie is embarking on a new adventure in the Nantais vineyard in order to showcase the beautiful terroirs of Muscadet. I work with respect and balance for nature through organic and biodynamic farming practices. Essential oils, composts, and biodynamic preparations support our farming. But above all, it is knowledge and observation of the balance between soil, plant, and climate that guides our work of accompanying the vines: it is in the vineyard that we make the wine. Once the grapes have reached maturity, we harvest and put them in vats so that the magic of fermentation can take place. There, our senses awaken - the nose, the color, the taste, the sound of the bubbles - as I monitor and accompany my wines until they are bottled. I aspire to create a wine that is alive, free to express a terroir, a vintage, emotions, and to be shared with others
